NOTE TO AUTHORS


       College Sadhana publishes articles of high reputation and innovation. It is a bi-annual journal and also multidisciplinary in nature. Articles from Tamil, English, History, Economics, Commerce, Social and Life sciences, Computer Science and Engineering are most welcome. It also entertains meritorious articles from scholars outside our college area. The editorial board is in such a way framed to achieve quality in its perception. Only on their recommendations, reviews and comments, the submitted articles may be considered for publication. The author will receive a final proof of his/her manuscript to provide corrections and he/she is requested to do the same within a sort span of time.

       Articles, intended for publication in College Sadhana, must be typewritten in A4 size format, single space, 12” font size and Times New Roman font. Page Number, Header and Footer should not be included. Tables and Figures either shall be attached separately with captions or shall be included in the Last pages of the Manuscript. Figures, Graphs, Charts and Pictures should be sent as Image file formats (bmp/jpeg etc). The latest Writing Manuel for MLA Handbook should be followed in Literature articles. They should be sent in MS Word document either by an electronic version in CD-Rom or through Email to collegesadhana@vhnsnc.in. For reviewing and correction purpose, one hard copy also is to be sent with the soft copy. An assurance, stating the originality and nowhere published statement, is necessary for the acceptance of the same. If the article is a joint one, the principal investigator should give the statement.

An abstract between 50 and 100 words should be attached with the manuscript which should contain the most critical information.

Full paper generally consists of the title, byline, author affiliation, abstract, and reference list. List of references must be provided at the end of the paper. They should be arranged in the order of citation in the text. Each reference number must be enclosed in square brackets. This is to be done with care and commitment, irrespective of the disciplines. Sample correct formats for various types of references are as follows.
